You can come any ‘OpenStudio- Adults only Drop-in Time’ to finish your painting. As many times as you need. You have 6 months to finish the painting from the day you start.

About the class

Tanjore paintings listed here are 3-6 class projects. You come to the studio to learn key steps and practice making your painting. Then you have the option to complete repetitive steps at home, or come back to the studio for a quiet space and more hands on guidance. You decide when you wish to come and how long you wish to stay.

These paintings are designed for absolute beginners. 

All the materials will be provided.

​

Classes will cover:

• Introduction to muck work - embossing 1-2 layers depending on painting style and design

• Applying gold foil

• Giving depth and details for gold foil based on design 

• Painting and final touches

• No advanced drawing / painting skills are required.

• Prices are determined based on design complexity and gold foil/ muck work.
